Intern With US
As an intern with Mikowrites, you'll work under the direction of Miko Holt and learn the basics of the entertainment industry, nonprofit industry, and ultimately youll have the opportunity to work on stunning, no-nonsense projects.
We are looking for sharp interns to join our dynamic team! All internships are on a part-time basis 10-12 hours and internships do last for a period of 16 weeks. And youll be able to receive college credit! No stipend will be provided. We are seeking to recruit interns who not only reside in the Buffalo, New York area, but we are extending our recruitment are willing to work with interns who live in other states. However, you may need to travel to Buffalo, New York for events and this will be part of your internship.
We are currently seeking the following type of interns:
Advertising/Marketing: Want to learn about sponsorships and event planning? Gain hands on experience working in the business that keeps us going. We write and we market at Mikowrites. We seek interns who know what brand visibility is and how to create the hype.
Editorial: Assist with editorial content on an upcoming project. Write reviews, celebrity articles and gain hands on experience editing.
Online: Are you the guru of facebook, myspace, twitter, and you just can't live without tagged? Well, if social networking is your thing then you'll have the chance to work directly on our social networking efforts.
Graphics Design/Website Development: Assist in the creation of graphic materials, logos, web site development and other. We need strong, knowledgeable web/graphic interns.
Promotions: This department was specifically designed to help us build the hype about our products, services, and any campaigns we're running. Caution: this department is only for visionaries!
